biggest political debate of our age

the california legislature is currently debating something of utmost importance to us all: which city is "Surf City USA." here is a link to the article: Click here apparently, santa cruz and huntington beach are having a feud over which city is surf city. and the legislature felt the need to get involved. my favorite quote is that neither city qualifies under the song because neither have two girls for every boy.

i'm glad to see that the california legislature has its priorities straight. i mean, they are willing to tackle something of this magnitude instead of going with the crowd and trying to reduce poverty or something.
