Back to the future

have you ever seen someone from your past and been catapulted back to that time? I saw a friend today that i haven't seen in 3 years. it was just like those three years hadn't happened and we picked up right where we left off. the last time i saw him, we were growing apart but it seems that we grew in the same direction; we get along better now than we ever did.

it's weird how some people just fit with you, even if you change. i think that's how some marriages last so long--the people grow together, instead of apart. the changes don't cause a break down. and a good marriage is built on a good friendship so i guess it's really the same thing.
