work work work

i have discovered two things about work that i don't like that i didn't think about.

1. no music. there is no music in the entire office. it's quiet. you can hear people talking and a lot of typing. that's it. it's driving me crazy. i hate silence. i need sound. this will be difficult to overcome.

2. remembering. "hey, you know that thing you wrote for that client? do you remember what you put in the second paragraph?" you are supposed to remember every little detail about each of your clients and be ready to spout it all back at any random time. this is very difficult to do when you have many clients who all have the same issue. i'm going to have to get my memory up to snuff so i don't look like an idiot.

on another note, the hurricane damage is breaking my heart. the damage caused by nature is horrible. the damage being caused by humans is inexcusable. i hope those people who are shooting rescuers realize how many people they are killing because of their actions. and i know that someday they will have to account for that. but i still would like them to have to be accountable for it now.
