lucky lucky girl

so i write all the time about things that annoy me, etc. so today, i want to reflect on why i am one of the luckiest people on the planet.

1. i have the best husband a girl could ask for. i am a difficult person. that's a fact. i am sick a lot (i take 5 prescriptions, 2 vitamins, and a nose spray every morning), have doctor appointments a lot and seem to be a clutz. example: we went to a football game this weekend. we were having a marvelous time. we were walking down the ramp and i missed a difference in elevation in the sidewalk, thereby jarring my hips/lower back. that's right folks, i hurt myself walking. now, i try to hide it but my husband figures it out. and instead of being annoyed that he has to take care of my injured self, he rubs my back and keeps asking if i'm okay. he drives me to my doctor appointments. he reminds me that the money we spend on my medicine, etc. is worth the money. he has unwavering faith in me and my abilities. now i'm just rambling, but you get the point.

2. i have a great family. my parents are so supportive and also have faith in me. they were seriously the best parents a person could ask for. they think i can do anything, but if i don't, they love me anyway. that's an amazing thing to have.

3. i have good friends. they know me, the real me, and love me anyway. i know that they are there if i really need them. and they let me win at poker a few times to make me feel better.

4. i have a good job. it's not perfect. but it's good.

okay, time for dinner. sorry to be mushy....just felt like sharing joy for a change.
